Dr. Lily Saad

Position: Assistant Professor of Business Administration and Course Coordinator in the Management Department at La Sagesse University.

Dr. Lily Saad is an Assistant Professor with more than 18 years of academic experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students across several Lebanese universities. Her multidisciplinary academic background encompasses Management, Human Resources, Marketing, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Urbanism, and Sustainable Development. Combined with over five years of professional experience as an HR Manager in an international organization and her involvement in business consultancy, she effectively bridges academic knowledge with practical organizational and strategic challenges.

Dr. Saad’s research, teaching, and consultancy interests focus on leadership, organizational agility, crisis management, entrepreneurship, business development, women’s empowerment, governance, compliance, anti-corruption practices, tourism, sustainability, organizational learning, and resilience in fragile environments. Her work pays particular attention to organizations operating in contexts characterized by uncertainty, complexity, and prolonged crises.

She is an active member of CEDIMES and Dev Connect, contributing to international academic collaboration and interdisciplinary research initiatives related to sustainable development, governance, leadership, and societal transformation.

Committed to connecting theory with practice, Dr. Saad actively contributes to international conferences, academic publications, business consultancy projects, and applied research initiatives. Her recent work explores leadership in crisis contexts, organizational resilience, women’s career advancement and the glass ceiling phenomenon, sustainable development, territorial and tourism development, and the role of governance in fostering ethical, innovative, and resilient organizations.

Through her teaching, research, consultancy, and professional engagement, Dr. Saad seeks to advance innovative management practices and evidence-based solutions that contribute to organizational excellence, sustainable development, and positive societal impact.
